We enjoyed the place and its gorgeous and exceptionally nice breakfast.
Booked a room with particularly good views of the mountains. The bed was cozy, plus the bathroom was nice. The location was great, really close to outdoor seating both with compelling views of the mountains and Valle de Bravo for the peace and Mexico and easily accessible. Furthermore, also close to a natural park.

Location: the hotel was really close to mountains, and Avandaro itself. The stuff was attentive, provided great services and helped with free parking...

It isn't a real 5 stars hotel. The room provides the minimum facilities. Although we stayed in a Junior Suite with two fire places the hotel gives you only one complementary wood package for almost one hour and only 2 big towels. If you want to take two showers there isn't were to hung the towels. There is a salon and a bedroom but only one TV set. They leave only two glasses and you have to use one for the tooth brushes - How we supposed to drink water?

The accomodations were very nice, the staff was excellent, and the facility was beautiful.
If you want to play tennis there is an extra $10 (US) charge per person. Many of the rooms are very far away from the lobby and restaurant. You have to drive or walk 10-15 minutes. The room had a very stron mildew smell.

The service in the front desk, they are not well prepared. The rooms are old and smell bad.

Location
Installations need a makeover. Old and muggy. Blankets smelled bad. They give too little wood to keep the chimney going so it was extremely cold. Too expensive for such bad quality. Better hotels in the same area, which is beautiful.

Magnificent location of the hotel to the lush gardens.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The property is beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The golf course was great, and our caddy Diego was the best! The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the artichoke with four cheeses and the beef carpaccio. The margaritas were good and the wine list was reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the complimentary beer, soda, water, and Nespresso machine in our room. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere and the newly renovated rooms had beautiful views of nature and the golf course. The staff promptly built a fire in our room when asked, which was a nice touch. it was a perfect setting for a calm and quiet retreat.
Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Stunning Renovation!
I recently stayed at a hotel in Valle de Bravo and was amazed by the incredible renovation at Avandaro Golf & Spa Resort. The rooms have been completely transformed and are now so beautiful and modern. The dusty charm I had heard about was completely gone, replaced with fresh and clean decor. The new gas fireplace in my room added a cozy touch. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, with picturesque views of the mountains. The breakfast buffet on the terrace was a delightful experience, watching the clouds drift over the peaks. The staff provided great service, and the spa was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful getaway.

The hotel we stayed in over New Year's was completely renovated and very impressive. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and we were thrilled that the hotel offered complementary breakfast and a happy hour with free drinks and appetizers. The location was perfect, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Plus, the views of the mountains were outstanding.
The rooms were quite small and felt a bit dirty. Additionally, some of the rooms were located right on the road, which made for a noisy experience.

Arriving at this hotel was like entering a luxurious paradise. The location was stunning, surrounded by breathtaking vistas. As soon as I entered the spa area, I knew I was in for a treat. The spa was a haven of relaxation and pampering. The staff was attentive and professional, and the massages were among the best I've had. Additionally, the outdoor swimming pool was an exclusive amenity that I couldn't resist. The sun terrace was perfect for lounging, and the garden area was well-manicured and peaceful.
The only downside I could find was in the restaurant's service. While the food was exceptional, the service was a bit slow.
